A Reason to Survive and Barbara Salazar present A Meal to Remember, an exhibition that connects our senses to memories stirred up by food. Through the exploration of food nostalgia, each artist’s artwork depicts a meal that is significant to them.
This exhibition highlights different foods and connects stories that have been part of the artist’s history, culture, and identity. By sharing their stories with our community they pay homage to the power of shared experiences created by sharing a meal. Food connects those who are willing to explore, learn and welcome new palates into their lives.
